Ellis Hutchinson is a 5'11" (may be 6' now) 175lb cornerback and a returning starter from last seasons regional finalist La Porte Bulldogs. Ellis made great strides through the season and ended up leading the team in interceptions with four and was on the all-district honorable mention for district 21-5A. Hutchinson has improved even more in the off-season and has been a tough match-up for opposing 7on7 squads making numerous interceptions. College scouts have taken notice and Ellis has seen interest from some D-2 schools. With Malik Graves on the other side returning as well, cornerback will be a definite strength for La Porte in the upcoming 2012 season.
